The Leadville 100 is an epic mountain bike race held in Leadville Colorado since 1994. It is one of the best know marathon mountain bike races in the country today. The total elevation gain for the 100 mile race is somewhere around 11,000 vertical feet. Popular climbs include: Powerline, the climb to Columbine mine and St. Kevins.
In order to race the Leadville 100 you either have to get picked in the lottery or qualify through one of the qualifying races. Details on qualify can be found on the official Leadville web site.
We're proud that Scott Morman and Dave Jolin are both racing in the Leadville 100 this weekend. For Scott this is the his second time doing the race as he qualified in 2012 as well.
In the past years many pro-cyclists have also raced in the Leadville 100. Past racers include David Wiens, Floyd Landis, Lance Armstrong, Levi Leipheimer and Rebecca Rusch.
To celebrate this event and our two team members doing the race we're running a special banner on our site all week starting Monday!
